It just dawned on me that we hold the answers to our problems, it does not lie with others. We know ourselves better than anyone else, even if we lack the ability to articulate it.
But we need to be honest about what we see so that we can move forward.
We need to see that patience and perseverance are key to success. I know I just touched on ???not rushing??? but this is a little different. I think we should not give up on ourselves too easily. We turn to the outside world, we google it, facebook it or drop a quick question on linkedin groups. And as Robert Wendover so eloquently put it, we???ve been immersed for so long in a kind of menu-driven thinking.
But if we spend the time to think through our problems, turn them over in our head, I am positive we can come up with solutions. That will gratify us. It will give us a sense of control. It will help us to accept potential solutions as well.
The world has been around long before our arrival and yes, the questions and answers are out there for the taking. Yes it???s true that we don???t have to keep reinventing the wheel here. But we need to come to our own set of conclusions based on our own set of experiences. Haven???t you realised that you???ve asked questions before and turned away before the answer arrived? Haven???t you beamed with happiness at finding a solution yourself ??? although this may have already been a known solution but one you had not stumbled upon at the time? Do you not prefer to come to the answer yourself ??? it???s a sense of discovery and the sense of accomplishment that you???ve put your mind to it. You???ve triumphed.
