When something keeps happening to you, over and over again, it’s time to ask yourself : what am I not getting?
Of course, to get to that place where you actually see the event recurring is not that easy. There are times you don’t make the connections you ought to make. There are times when its obvious to everyone else except yourself. There’s a reason why they say you need to step back or sleep on something when it’s been on your mind for too long. When you are too close to something or when you’ve thought about something for too long, you can lose perspective.
I’ve been in this loop before. It’s taken me years to come to this realisation but I am glad I have. In some situations, it took me a long time to realise that there were different scenarios, different characters involved but hey, here’s the same story being relived again. Hmmm.
I now believe that when something keeps happening to you, it’s happening for a reason. Your job is to find out why.
